Inaugural Symposium on Molecular Imaging at UAB
October 24, 8:00 am - 6:30 pm
Molecular imaging is a powerful technique that can be applied to basic, translational, and clinical research as well as to routine patient care. With new infrastructure including the UAB Cyclotron Facility, Advanced Imaging Facility and Small Animal Imaging Facility, UAB is poised to become a leader in molecular imaging.
This symposium will highlight recent progress in molecular imaging both at UAB and from world renowned external speakers with a focus on neuroimaging and oncologic imaging. We will also provide overview of the cyclotron and the advanced imaging facility offerings and capabilities at UAB, as well as mechanisms available to stimulate new collaborative research and grants.
